  • You know when something isn't right, but you can't work out what ...

Was unable to move yesterday due to medicinal reasons, so decided to go out and mow the back garden today.
Dragging the mower up and down, I got a distinct sense of something being not right, but couldnt quite work it out.
It was only as the first raindrops started to fall, that I saw what was wrong.

Seems I didnt escape the storm scott free after all.
    How tiresome.

That used to be my garden shed. Its been blown about 5 yards behind its original position and dropped down into the drainage ditch/stream that borders my property.
Most annoying, however it does pale really when I look at the carnage that the storm caused to others.

Crikey that wind must have been strong. You cant see it in the photo, but as I was dragging the detritus up out of the ditch, one of my daleks was underneath it all. Said dalek was about 2/3 full of compost, so I'm quite impressed.

Dont think I shall be rebuilding that pile of matchsticks, although will save most of the wood to be used again, was a home made pallet shed, done me for a couple of years but just wasnt up to that storm.
