  • Won the Lottery!!

Yep, won the lottery on Saturday night!!!! OH & I are over the moon and have been planning what to spend our win on.

It's not often that you get to win the lottery so we have thought long and hard and decided on..............................a pressure washer!

We won £68 and the Karcher washer was half price at £80 in Tesco Direct's sale.

OH has been happily letting the chooks poo all over the patio as he'll be raring to go this afternoon (even though it's raining) when we collect the pressure washer! Also going to come in handy for cleaning out the hen house!!

Might only have been a small win, but we are delighted!

Has anyone else got images of man holding pressure washer hose, COVERED in feathers and chicken poo from where it's blasted back from some object or other?

Enjoy your fortune, Jules. Just stand well back...

Congrats jules It must have been Grapes lucky weekend - we won a whole ten pounds too Unfortunately it was paid straight into the bank (cos we play online), and disappeared before I noticed it

As you have spent your Lottery Winnings I won't be traveling up to see you, I had my long lost relative fallen on hard times routine worked out perfectly too.

                  Congrats on the win,

                      Sadly....

....OH managed to remain (almost) pristine. Just a few tiny specs on his glo-white t-shirt. He could be in one of those sickening washing powder ads.

The camera was primed too. He's scoured everything within an inch of it's life. The yucky yellow patio slabs are almost canary yellow now and it took me years to cover them in sufficient grime to disguise their mustard coloured yuckiness.

The chooks were impressed though, and set about replacing the washed away poo as fast as they could. I think it's very sweet of them to give him an excuse to get his new toy out again tomorrow!

Weird! When my DH does any steam-cleaning/jet-washing he always ends up looking like he's been dragged out of a stagnant ditch !

Well done you, the most I've ever won was £44 and that had to be split three ways because of a "gentlewomen's" agreement with two of my daughters! You may well still get some good piccies of himself after using the pressure washer - he's sure to get complacent after a few goes. Me - I daren't get one - I'm a muck-magnet at the best of times.
