  • Why?

I can cope with the fact my OH got made redundant and is now doing a job he detests for half the money .
I can cope with the fact that youngest is leaving uni after three weeks because she hates it and is probably on the wrong course for her.
But what I can't cope with is the fact that my good friend and neighbours baby who's not quite 3weeks has just been rushed into hospital for blood tests and a lumber puncture when earlier on today she was fine.
    Why?

Sorry everybody just needed to rant before I crack up completely.

Get it off your chest, like Fi said, carp really does happen to those who deserve it the least.

Rant away - sounds like you need it.

I guess there is some comfort in the fact that whatever it is with the little'un, it was at least spotted.

Hope there's some good news soon.

Kids have got it right. They all say "It's not fair!"

True, it isn't. I hope your neighbour's little one is soon sorted and well.

Poor little baby - must be so upsetting for mummy and daddy. Hopefully they're just screening as a precaution and there's nothing too serious wrong.

Just to say thanks to everybody for the kind messages and sympathy. As far as I know at the moment her temp peaked at 39 and they've put her on the flu ward cos they're not sure and they will be doing a lumbar puncture. So people are the praying kind can they please pray and if not can they please cross their fingers.

                        thanks

You are so obviously a positive lady. Most **** things that happen have to be taken as a challenge. This new and overwhelming state of affairs has just been enough to throw you a little. It's the not knowing rather than fact that is the toughest.
