Don't you just love this time of year - cold, wet, ice, dark, wind, tax returns!

I'm just completing mine as we type and have coffee and large chocolate bar to help me stay awake.

Any tips on not leaving it so late next year very welcome

            Never had to do one

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I have had to do them in the past but not of late.

Did mine last week, not bad as more or less the same as last year. Always a relief to do it as I have a tendancy to forget too!

Did mine at the start of the month.

Last years fine for not having it in on time motivated me this time

Never done one in my life, doubt if I ever will. Quite possibly never could, given a combination of poor memory, dyslexia and numbers.
Don't envy you guys that have to do it, one bit.

My accountant takes care of all that, just throw the books at him and pay the bill.

G4 you are a lucky lady LOL. When I first started I went to a very posh accountant who set me up with a system of books that would have served a major business, now I just use an Everite 707. Makes life so much easier.
