Did you order the blueberry bush? If so, perhaps they had to substitute it. Otherwise, well done on your "winnings"

I never got around to ordering the Blueberry - this is just me not accepting that there is a credit crunch going on, but best I stop eh!

        You're not the only one.
In the last month I've had "free" plum tree, about a dozen hellebores, amaryllis, anemones ... and I'm still waiting for snowdrops.

        I haven't spent 20 quid (on postage) ... I've saved thirty !

Love your "savings" theory TwoSheds!! It's great saving on things you really want, but it is so easy to get sucked into buying something just because it's cheap/"free" and you end up not knowing where the **** to put it/them.

I don't know who keeps buying all those plants Piskie I've been clearing out my seed box to get ready for next years order and I've got 9 kinds of lettuce, 5 kinds of beetroot, 10 kinds of tomato, 4 kinds of parsnip and gawd knows what else The beans have a box to themselves I don't know who bought all those seeds

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Had a plum, cherry and kiwi plant delivered on Thursday which I'd ordered back in the Spring after I got a bonus. Had forgotten all about them but fortunately had paid for them when I bought as I knew I'd not still have the money by now. Planted the trees out yesterday but the kiwi is staying in a pot until the spring. On a plus point they also sent me 12 free strawberry plants so they'll be off to the lottie in the spring too - in 3" pots for now though.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
