Who do you talk to yourself as....? I cannot be the only one who talks to themselves in 'character' voices ?
Penfold: 'Cor cwikey, DM! The washing machines eaten my undies again!'
(high, panicky mild cockney with consonant problems)
DangerMouse: 'Don't worry Penfold, pass me that spanner and stand well back, I'll deal with this....'
(deep, re-assuring, well elocuted English)
Penfold: 'Gosh DM, that sock's weally come a cwopper! I don't think it's going to make it....'
DangerMouse: 'Chin up Penfold, it really was already past it's best... but that won't stop us demanding justice from Zanussi....'
Penfold: 'Oops, sorry DM! But I didn't buy the extended wawanty. Who knew it would turn out to be such a Fwiday afternoon job, eh?'
DangerMouse: 'Dammit Penfold, I've told you a thousand times, you should always buy British.....'
Go on, fess up......

I'm admitting to nothing! Not in any accent!

I kid myself that I'm actually talking to the Horses or the Chooks, the Dog etc. I have found myself talking to the car occasionally, which is a little worrying. I don't think I actually talk to myself though - but probably because I can't get a word in!

My Mum talks to herself all the time. My Dad doesn't seem to notice, but it drives me nuts to listen to her wittering on in the background!
