Default Where to put a ladybird house

I've got a ladybird house from sainsburys, just need advice about where best to put it
Ladybirds eat aphids? But what do aphids attack?
Should the ladybird house be near the fruit and veggies that aphids will attack? Or is it fine 30ft away?
I've got raspberries and gooseberries along the west side of my garden - so is on that fence (facing east) a good place?

I just screwed mine onto the side of my shed the side that faces away from the most prominent winds.

Cheers Chris
