    Whats your favourite Xmas film?

    As the festive season draws ever nearer, along with the chance of some time off work (and if the weather doesnt improve then its possible you wont be able to get to work on the plot / garden as much as perhaps we'd all like to ), I thought I'd ask what everyone's favourite seasonal film to curl up, relax and watch is? If its raining cats and dogs, blowing a gale or the ground is frozen solid, then what will you do with your time off, what will you make a point of watching, and what films do you really not want to see come xmas / yule? Share them with us all, and possibly the memories that they evoke or just what it is that you really enjoy about them?

                      Always used to watch a Bond film with the family over Christmas. Couldn't usually hear it well, what with my nan snoring but it reminds me of younger days.

                      Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

                      Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                          Debbie does Dallas Only joking, I've never seen that one ... honest. I did see one called the Other CInderella once definately not a walt disney

                          I don't really watch many films but the old hercules parrot aren't bad. I do Like the 39 Steps ( got them all on tape .... sad really) & the black & white SHerlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone in are good

                              My favourite film of all time has to be 'A Matter of Life and Death' and I could watch it everyday - it's recently been screened on Film4 and I watched it every time it was on!!!

                              I first saw it when I was about 10 years old and had a huge crush on David Niven ever since!
