  • What's in Wilcos?

I went into Wilcos, Wrecsam, today to see if there were any good gardening offers and the gardening stuff seems to have disappeared Not a plant or a pack of seeds or a plastic pot in sight! Is this just our local store or is it a 'Christmas' thing, talk about being disappointed

I have 2 near me, one is very large, they are rammed full of xmas tat at the moment, when its all sold off by the end of Jan they will then start filling up with the Valentines day tat and nice seed sowing stuff.

I find Wilkos start to lose most gardening stuff the day I go to get more big canes for my beans, around mid june. They still have a bit but alot disappears back to the warehouse until spring time.

Give them their due - they change with the seasons in a flash...

I got my seed potatoes from wilkos in Jan last year so it doesn't take them long to shift the xmas stuff and get in the 'proper' things, lol

the seed spuds & onion sets will appear early in the new year, they are very seasonal but as Andrea said they do change it round very quickly, (they'll have easter eggs next week)
The love of gardening is a seed once sown never dies ...
