tis certainly odd weather, the pond is frozen over again, with a sprinkle of snow, the fine flakes of snow really show up in the bright sunshine,it cannot make up it's mind, end of winter or early spring,
i wonder if we going to get a hot summer this year,we already got several barrells of water ready

It's lovely & sunny here but we had the heavy frost & flurries of snow too. Yes the snow is pretty but I don't want any more. We had power cuts for 2 days last week & it snowed & I had to go to the library for a warm!

                    Well.
I went out midday, it was blizzarding, you couldn't see 3 cars in front of you. OH said it was clear blue skies 30 miles away.

By the time I got to him, it had snowed there too. We crawled home (no gritters) at 20mph, but at least we GOT home

Same here - I txtd OH to ask him what the snow was doing in Cambridge (5 miles away) as it was coming down all angles at our house and he said it was clear blue sky. He then txt me 15 mins later to say the blizzard was there whilst we had blue skies out the front. Very weird.

I was praying school would be shut today, but no ...

For once we seem to be having the best of the weather on this side of Scotland; lovely sunny but cold days and frosty nights. Please don't shout at me! It is so often the other way round, with us enduring storms and misery while the rest of the country basks in the sun.
I wonder what kind of summer we're in for in this El Nino year?
