  • What was it?!

    The flower that was in the foreground when Alys was saving Rocket seeds during tonights GW?

    It looked almost like some kind of tulip - the bloom of which looked like a "spiral" of material?

    Did anyone see it?

    Does anyone know what it was?

    I liked it!

        you mean the longish yellow flowers,i saw them and thought they looked different,the petals sort of swirled upwards,sorry,no idea,but they did look ellegant.

              It was the Californian Poppy (Eschscholzia californica). Those flowers hadn't fully opened. They're gorgeous and dead esy to grow - just chuck some seeds on the soil in spring & you'll have them forever more. I've got lots in the back garden. The bumblebees love them too.
