  • What are you watching?

Sort of like the other thread - What are you reading? My all time fave films are = Schindlers List - Shawshank Redemption. Over the weekend, my eldest son got me to watch Bronson (Britains most dangerous prisoner) I came away thinking how sad. That poor man! Obviously do not agree with his violence, but the guy has problems! Can't anyone in authority see that??? 34 years in prison 30 IN SOLITARY. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING?

One of Luton's most famous exports I believe. Makes you proud to be a Lutonian.

I have just been given back my copy of Into the Wild - great film, one of my favourites of recent years. Oh, and also my 7 disc Nightmare on Elm Street box set has just been handed back to me.

I have too many other favourites to list here.

In a televisual (rather than film) way I'm really enjoying 'Dollhouse' at the moment. It's from Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and showing on the Sci-Fi channel. Its really excellent - I had my doubts but they were totally unfounded.

We tried watching the new version of 'Bionic Woman' with Michelle Ryan, but it's pants.

Sorry, you can't mention Michelle Ryan and pants in the same sentence, it's just not fair on a dude.

Well, just to be diffeent I've watched eight various DVD's on the little grey Fergie!
Just picked up another eight so that's me set for the next couple of weeks!

Seen the film Bronson and thought it's the worst film I've ever seen!

Best film I've seen lately is Taken with Liam Neeson in a starring role! The latest Pink Panther film was good also!

Watching through Bones for the first time here (on Season 2 atm), very good if a little grim! Also watched TrueBlood (just starting on FX channel at the moment) - was daft enough to order that one just before it was announced starting on UK TV in the Summer! Doh!

Not seen any films in quite a while now - waiting for ones from this year to be released on DVD. Ones I want to watch again soon though include favourites such as: Stardust, Dark City, Kung Fu Hustle, Ghostbusters, Batman (not the old naff ones), Iron Man and so forth.

                  Shows...

Me and the other half are quite enjoying the new Knight Rider Series on Sci Fi on Digital, It's incredibly cheesy but in a funny good way.

All time fave films are any Monty Python, Braveheart (natch), Blues Brothers, Animal House, Rocky Horror and Once Were Warriors.
To be honest, there's not a lot on TV that I would make a point of watching - though In The Night Garden seems quite popular in our house at the mo

I'm thinking.... thinking....thinking.... nope, been about 6 months since I watched anything at all on telly! Not even a DVD I don't think... Went to see Harry Potter the other night, first time I've been to the cinema since the last Bourne movie came out! I just can't seem to get interested in anything enough to bother... And when I'm not staring at this (pooter) screen, I'd rather read a book and listen to the radio/some music than go and look at a different screen If another Bourne movie came out I'd go and see that though.
