What should you be doing instead of reading the Vine?

I am in the middle of hemming a dress. I keep popping down "just to see what's going on" on the Vine (radio Four is on in the background, but not TV)

hmmmmmmmm interesting subject bernie xxx well I am supposed to be washing hair, finishing my homework lol.....sorting out kids but OH can do that, instead I am on settee under blanket, with doggies, laptop, enjoying a rather large VODKA lol...

Sorry to interrupt what appears to have become a private conversation (and I wish I was nearer, I would ask to join you two). I should be doing housecleaning. However, I have put up a new curtain rail today, hung the curtains, made the bed, and ready to sleep in my own room again tonight after having a houseguest for nearly 2 months.

I SHOULD be converting a carrier bag full of plum tomatoes,jalapenos,sweet peppers and onions that I brought from the allotment, into a relish or something..............but I can't be bothered so here I am!
