There's one thread in general chat asking for votes to receive seeds but nobody should be sending you PMs for their projects to be voted for.

The other one is for votes for a seed circle. The info is all in the threads themselves.

Like this there was another one, but I can't find it - it was about a polytunnel on Loch Fyne. I've had loads in personal email too.

Sorry Zaz, I meant my actual email not PMs on here. There just seems to be quite a spate of these things and I wondered if it was phishing or spam.

Without knowing how people are getting your email - it's hard to say.

If they are PMs, can you please press the report triangle and we will have a look at them for you.

Sorry Nicos, I meant sent to my actual email address, not PMs on here. Just counted and I've had 21 emails (to me at home) asking me to vote for something....Photography, teddy bear competitions, jewellery competitions. I get a lot of junk and spam because of the craft fairs, but this all seems to be the same type of thing. Just made me a bit suspicious.

Yesterday - or was it this morning? - there was a member on here asking for votes for their polytunnel and today it was someone else asking us to vote for his cute dog. In both cases you needed to register your details to vote and things like that make me a little edgy.

Maybe it's just me. Didn't mean to get all the Mod antennae going, sorry!

If there is a problem with posts on here, press the red triangle. If it's your personal emails - we don't have any control over those!

The polytunnel one was removed earlier and I didn't see the dog one until now so if Nicos hasn't already - it will be coming down now.

Possibly - the 1 on here seems to be. We have no idea what's in your email in box though as we can't see them!

Ohh, you wouldn't want to see in there...

I can understand where people get my email address from, and all of the 'vote for me' emails are craft related. But, apart from two, they are from people I've never heard of. And the two that I do know are not the type of people to enter competitions that aren't of the utmost seriousness. Add to that the fact that these 'vote for me's are popping up everywhere I look..........

Er.....does anyone want to vote for my egg basket?
