Ah, Carolyn Sue Jones (Morticia) I had a crush on her from a very tender age.. or are you looking at the short dress version? This wouldn't be a Ravenblack fantasy would it?(crosses himself whlst clutching a crusifix) I always felt that the Addams family really did exist in downtown America somewhere, they were, somehow to outrageous to be unbelievable. Just off to crush my head in a vice

I think you'd have to grow your hair again, or have a fabulous wig - that is definitely a long hair kinda frock

Youv'e started me off now, I used to go out with a girl many many moons ago who dressed like that just about all the time. Long before that sort of dress was termed Goth.

She was a strange girl and somewhat out of place in the late 60s Walthamstow, wonder what she's like now.

Oh yes, that's definitely a "Lynda" dress! You don't have to get married though, just get OH to take you to a posh do (oh, and win the lottery first )

You could join a LARP group, Live Action Role Play, they dress up like that all the time and act out dungeons and dragons type battles, castles and mythical beings, you could then buy your dress and wear it more than once.

You need to meet my friend Karen, who DID get married in a red velvet floor length dress just like that one without the flouncy sleeves...and wore a skin tight silver rubber dress for her reception. Marvelous.

Get it anyway Lynda, it's fab!

My wedding outfit was similar, only the dress part was blue velvet and the lacy/silky bit was orange. Better than it sounds, honestly

Would be a magnificent dress to wear at the next Whitby Goth weekend. We always go to the October one and always have a wonderful time. Part of the enjoyment comes from seeing the fantastic clothes that people are wearing.

i've dropped not so subtle hints to OH about the wedding, but he's of the same opinion ...... why get married when you can just wear it on a night out ........ i've never been married ...... wanna do it at least once lol ....... just so when the vicar says stuff about me ...... he doesn't say, here lies lynda spinster of this parish ........ i always think that sounds so sad and lonely

the wig idea is great, ...... i may have to get one, save me having to grow it again, though saying that, i always end up growing it again, it's annoying short, cos i can't do anything with it lol.

    morticia is my heroine terrier

never really fancied the LARP stuff, i'd rather just sit on a throne and get waited on (ok maybe i do lol)
