wasps nest

    wasps nest

    Got a wasps next in my mothers garden.
    We have bought the aerosol spray and used it but they are still there.
    Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

    And when your back stops aching,
    And your hands begin to harden.

      Leave 'em alone, they eat insects. They die over winter anyway and don't re-use an old nest.

            cold winter weather kills off all the worker wasps - only the queen survives, and she'll seek out a new nest in April.

                  As others have said, they will be gone soon, why would you want to kill them? The queen will leave next spring, and not use that nest again. Enjoy the wildlife around you ... until it stings

                    The little JR mother of my dogs trod on a wasp last Sunday. Lay on her back and screamed poor lil dog. Her paw swelled up to twice it's size but was back to normal the afternoon afterwards.

                      We had one in our eaves this year. Were going to get rid of it but after reading a load of stuff on line realised that it was far better to leave them be unless the nest was in a very well trafficed area. Not seen any going in and out of ours for a few days so maybe they're dying off already.

                      Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

                      Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
