  • Warmth in the sun?????

Good grief- I've just been out to collect some more eggs from under Betty and as the wind droppped I actually felt some heat on my face.
    Second time in a week!
No wonder the flowers are starting to open up!!!

    Yippee!

            Sun what sun?
So far this week we have a day of snow, all day hailstones twice and all day yesterday heavy rain, they told us showers, today we have had showers but a really icy cold wind with more snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow!
Can't wait for some nicer weather so I can get out in the garden.

A wild, windy, sunny day here in South Devon. March coming in like a lion and, I hope, going out like a lamb!

Just come back in from le jardin after turning over one of the beds, and I am perspiring. In fact thats untrue, I am positively dripping sweat, its lovely and warm outside.

More wind and rain forecast for tomorrow though, booooo.

howling a gale here, but the rain has stopped for now. Just as I think spring may be approachng it hides away again.
I'm out tonight and am dreading what my hair will look like when I get there!

Trust me with mad hair I may get arrested!
When will the sun come here?! It makes everything seem so much better, and aches and pains so much easier to handle, and puts a spring in everyone's step.
Seems such a long time since the not-so-great-summer of last year.

Warmth....sunshine...ah yes I think I remember that. Vaguely. Long before those days of -5 and nights of -12 turned to 40 hours of non-stop snow blowing from the East to a depth of 3 feet !
Got my crosscountry skis nicely waxed, why would I need external warmth when I am ski-ing using every muscle in my body ? Why would I heat my Victorian cottage when I can stick my hands inside the fridge for a warm-up ?
On the downside, I can't say I have seen any flowers opening up recently Nicos...
