    The vine does it for me (again) - does it do it for you too?

    I have been feeling pants today. Sick, hot, dizzy, hot, achey, hot, and as huge as an elephant. Decided at 8:30 that I couldnt cope with going to fetch Bashfull Bill from playschool at midday so booked him in for this afternoon too. Of course feeling paranoid that pea and pod are ok as they have been abit quiet but think they are poss feeling as pants as me. Have had my traditional cry (good to let it out eh) - twice and a huge sleep of 4 hours in between but still feel pants.

    BUT I come on here and I am now ready to go and get the kids with a smile on my face. The vine REALLY does it for me and I love you all.

          My son is an August birthday and it was a really hot summer. I felt awful with 1 can't imagine how you are feeling with 2.

            Cheer up even more Mrs. Cant be comfy with a pair of them hidden in your tum, but not too much longer and they will burst into the world.
            Maybe your marrows will be bigger then too!!

                Glad you are feeling perky Tammy; apparently the temps are due to go down soon....not by much but every little helps.

                    My youngest was born at the end of July, I can remember being sooo glad when term ended and i didn't have to trek to and fro from school and nursery 3 times a day!! Not long now, they finish in just over 2 weeks here

                      TWO WEEKS AND ONE DAY - AND COUNTING!!!!! Parents in law are having them for 10 days right in the middle of the hols too!!!

                        Poor you Tammy, the heat is bad enough without being pregnant to boot. My 2nd son was born 28th July and that summer was hot, we went on holiday about this time ( wimbledon was on ) to Norfolk with friends who had three children, we stayed in a cottage, I had one white cotton dress and I washed it out every night put it on the line to dry and ironed it and wore it every day. lol
                        Hope you feel a bit better.

                          Tammy - YOU do it for the Vine as well! The Vine would be a much poorer place without you.
                          I can only imagine how hard it is for you at the moment (and a couple of friends who are also expecting very soon too).
                          Just try and keep cool, and put your feet up and rest as much as poss.

                            LW sends her sympathies. I am not equipped to have experienced the discomfort of pregnancy in such heat, but I do get hot easily.

                            I'd give you a hug, but given that I'm like a furnace myself (LW's hot water bottle during the winter months) I'd only make matters worse I'm sure.

                            Hope the heat eases of for all our expectant Grapes.

                              Hi there

                              I too went through carrying two little 'pods' in 1994, what a hotty that was! You have my full empathy. Looking on the bright side though, I have two strapping (nearly 6ft), 14year olds and every moment of carrying them was worth it even the days when I could hardly move lol.
