Further to an issue of non-members being able to access this area and read but not post - I am wondering if their 'hit' on a thread marks as a View? If so, take a look at the Views on the Map now tell me that is all of us viewing!

I suppose the map is safe for people just highlighting their lottie but for those marking their house it's probably not a good idea to mark your actual house, just somewhere in the vicintiy of.

I've heard of incidents where google map has been used to look up swimming pools and lots people are invited for pool parties...google must be fab for thieves!

makes ya think doesn't it! I am so darn naive I assume everyone is nice and everyone will be my friend - oh dear - you'd think I was 5 not 52!

maybe the maps should become a thread which is only accessible to members~like nonmembers cant access profiles etc..we've not yet worked out how to put our lottie up~one step at a time!~but i think when we do it will just be lottie not home.that said theres more ways for the wrong peeps to know your whereabouts than on a computer!maybe we should all start boasting about how poor we are & nothing in our homes worth nicking & they might leave us alone!
