I have a defunct bog standard wine rack - the wooden type. Any ides what I can use it for?

I was going to suggest the wildlife option, or as a nicer version of those wire thingies you put over a plant so it grows through and doesn't droop all over the place, for things with too many stems to tie them to stakes/bamboo canes.
Alternatively, you might lay it down so that if there were bottles in they would be upright, put a small plantpot in each bottle-space, and start off things that will grow tall....Last edited by Hilary B; 18-02-2010, 07:06 PM.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

You could fix it to the wall of a shed or something, with the 'holes' pointing upwards and use it to sort bamboo canes, lightweight but long gardening tools etc.
