Its a shame ive been loving watching the victorian kitchen garden and old gerdeners worlds as well as the dig for victory [ i forgot the proper name]. They have been putting those horrible place in the countryhouse buying shows. Now there chucking the programes with housing programs is not good. Its a lovley little channel now there spoiling it.

They showed the whole series of Victorian Kitchen Garden back to back followed by Wartime Kitchen Garden......Great.

When I win the lotto I am going to build a walled garden and employ all the gardeners.

Its seems that nearly all the Sky channels are having a name change.
Dave,Eden,Blighty,G.O.L.D,Fiver....................They think are conning you into thinking they are giving us more choice when in actuality all they do is move stuff around. Not conning me.

Saying that, its sad that a dedicated channel for gardening is being lumped into Home.

Btw,i enjoyed watching Christine's garden.Anyone watch that one?

I watched christines garden, ive looked at 'home' today the garden/home channel were suposte watch [ how groundforce and house hunting programes are better than what were ogardens i don't know], really the channel what now has the 248 slot is rubbish. No proper growing fruit and veg shows on now im very disapointed.

Have just looked, and yes, it's gone. Really sorry to see that go, I had been watching some Gardener's World programmes with Geoff Hamilton who I think was brilliant. I would have thought as more people take to their gardens or allotments they would have been eager to promote this channel.

Don't think we got this on freeview anyway, but the Victorian Kitchen Garden is available on DVD at Amazon IIRC

The gardening programme about lotties was called the big dig and compared a lottie inWales and one down south i forget where, i loved it as they were two such different sites, approaches and the characters who grew on them were fab.
