    The things we agree to when not really listening!

    It was perfect duck weather on the school run and as a result I had my hat pulled down way over my ears and most of the sounds were muffled.

    This is good as normally my 4 yr old witters on and on about drivel all the way there!

    Thsi mornign was no exception and I dutifully ummed, ahhed and I see'd all the way there.

    It was only when we got there I understood what I had agreed to.............

    To let him take a CAT and a CHICKEN to show and tell.

    LOL! Thought is was just me that did things like that, my kids can talk for England!

        That's alright, it means the teacher can be the bad guy when it's not allowed for health & safety reasons

          I wonder what the playgroup leader thought privately, when one of my sons turned up to show and tell with a dead mole that he'd found in the garden that morning...

          Needless to say all the children were fascinated!
          Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.

            What at the same time lol that will be fun. I remember the head at primary school thought it would be a good idea to have a pet show how wrong was he, he got bitten by a dog, pets were banned after that.

              My son insisted on taking in a head lice that we caught on him, cant remember what we took it in, but the kids all said ugggh we dont want that. They all went home insisting their mums checked them for lice lol

                Mine daughter went in with 2 dead frogs last year!!!

                  how sweet, we took our geckos, snakes and bearded dragon into school, kids were scared at first but when we were leaving, they wanted us to stay!

                    I'm not actually sure he will be taking either one of our cats or one of our chickens! (Dead or alive)
                    lol

                    But at least I might listen to him on the way home!
