    there is a GOD...can't wait

    the new season starts on saturday with pre-season friendly.
    the visitors to the Pirelli Stadium are Derby County coming to take on the mighty Burton Albion come on you Brewers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    its been just over a month without any interesting football it seems like an eternity.
    can't wait for our season to start in the football league 2. big thing for us minnows league football.
    this will be a battle from the heart

        Phil I watched a few games about 5 years ago now, was working for a client who was a Brewers nut. Never missed a match.
        Really enjoyed the atmosphere, love non league footy, but was well chuffed when you guys won promotion.
        Will be watching how your first season plays out. Good luck.

          Well the Brewers will get two chances on Saturday cos Nigel has said he's gonna put out two sides, 45mins each.

          I'm with you Phil, seems like an eternity waiting for the new season - with only the Ashes & Tour de France to keep the spirits up.

                    Looking forward to the Ashes , we'll have it on the radio I expect, Geoff Boycott being controversial and Henry Blofeld commentating on what the pigeons are doing

                    The football season wasn't much fun for me last year (Sunderland) although at least we avoided relegation by the skin of our teeth...
