  • Thank you

Just wanted to thank everyone on here that has purchased potatoes from me and made me feel welcome on the forum.
I am in the middle of lambing my pedigree Suffolk sheep at the moment and will be spending new year in a shed.
Happy New Year to you all when it comes around.

sheep are particularly annoying in the fact they lamb right in the middle of true brass monkey weather

for a fairly dim animal they sure know how to get their own back

oooooo i love lambing time ..... yeah many piccies please ....... i'd rather be in your cold draughty shed with you, than next door babysitting, i always loved having a baby or two to bottle feed at my grans, was a highlight of my year when one had 3 and i got to raise it till they 'got put back in the field, and suddenly became untame' .... ok i believed it then

Happy New Year tattieman . Good luck with the lambing. If you get bored take a walk down to the Annan bypass and wave at the poor unfortunate lorry drivers who drew the short straw and are driving tonight.
If you stand and wave at them you will scare them witless as they are more used to seeing traffic branch cars than friendly pedestrians
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

Happy New Year tattieman. I hope your night was not too busy and that you had enough time to have a wee dram to keep you warm.
