Default Survey of Allotments

As a plot holder, today I have recieved a questionaire from our cultural and community development officer at the local council about allotment provisions within the borough, and if improvements/additional sites are required.

I am going to our site tommorrow so I will make sure that anyone I see sends this off, unfortunately apathy rules on our site, so I think I may have my work cut out. we have an opportunity to make our voices heard so we must use it.

i only hope that if they get a poor response they may feel that sites are not important to the people who have plots and make plans to "use" them for other purposes

Any chance you could forward this to me as I feel our allotment officer should do something like this!

At least your local council takes the trouble to get in touch with you (by post I presume). With ours you have to access their website, search for relevant "consultations" and fill them in online!!! Even getting hold of our local allotment officer by phone is difficult - he/she never seems to be available.
