    sssshhh..don't tell my jeans....

    ....hoping they might not notice!!!But this cold weather is making me EAT!!!
    Having had a larger than normal for me tea,I've gone on to eat...chocolate(that I'd bought to make cakes with the kiddies!),a couple of(very yummy!!)runny egg butties(& as it's so blinkin' cold in the kitchen I couldn't spread the butter so had to make do with chunks!!)~just been back to make another chunky butter sarnie!!....now what can I find???...
    Still,I guess the more layers of fat,the lower the thermostat needs to be set!!

      I lost my appetite yesterday (big rows with Mr Sheds all day). I took a sleeping pill at 7 to blot out the sound of the nagging ...
      Hopefully I lost a few pounds this morning from missing my dinner

        Hope you got a good night's sleep TS.

        I always crave comfort food and lots of it as the weather changes. I like to think it's a deep seated need from our past to ensure we've got plenty of reserves for the winter. But deep down, if I'm truly honest with myself, I know it's just an excuse for tucking in to all the things I like best!

              Yeh...chocolate or goosefat vest...hard choice eh?????
              ( actually the stink of the fat would probably put you off eating and therefore promoting weight loss!!!)......oh oh....is that the new dieting method - esp with high fuel and food costs????

                I am not eating more, just the wrong stuff, cake biscuits etc instead of fruit or yogurt.
                Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
                and ends with backache

                  i know what you mean, ive lost a fair bit of weight this summer and now all i want is stodgy food and huge portions

                      ..could've stumbled upon a money maker there!!??
                      Has actually reminded me off a diet technique I used to use....constantly reapplying Atrixo handcream,the smell & taste transferrance was really enough to put you off eating!

                      re~eating the wrong stuff....it doesn't help that the kitchen is as cold as the fridge,therefore the butter you've left out so it will be spreadable,remains a hard block that needs to be sliced instead!!

                        Some unhelpful soul at work brought in cakes AND biscuits this week, and they're on the desk closest to me. Garrrrggghhhh!!

                            Having painted 2 doors and the frames and wire-brushed lime mortar off the stones in the pig-sty I'm just wondering if I should make a few flapjacks. Got the munchies and have an emergency supply of oats and golden syrup ( hard to find over here)...should I use them now.....or hang on for a real crisis????
                            Thank goodness the washing is still too wet to iron!!( *quickly hides spray gun*)

                              We are in the last throws of our self build. There's no heat, no light, no oven - so every night after work we are painting/building ine the bitter cold and pitch black (apart from a garage inspection lamp) and we're eating rubbish!!!

                              chocolate, crisps, sausage rolls, cakes, biscuits...even (save me!) Pot Noodles!! Aaarrrrghhh
