    Spanish weather warning!

    Any of you lot living over here in Spain take care. La1 news this morning, warned of 100km winds for tomorrow and Sunday - batten down those hatches. It will hit most of the peninsular. I have put things away from outside, tied anything down that needs it, and removed the netting from the chicken run (otherwise it might end up in Alicante!

      And here, although thankfully the last few days have been calm clear and frosty, such a blessing to get a break from constant wind and rain.

      Hopefully the Spanish wind won't be as bad as expected.

            Yes it is still quite warm here. The "witch's hat" on the chimney pot keeps squeaking in the wind!

                    Itīs been awful down here the last week or so, lots of things down and meant to get really chilly
                    I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

                        Only a couple of weeks back someone was telling us how lovely the weather was in Spain whilst some in this country where canoeing up the high street.

                          Itīs always the worst month here in spain, the winds pick up so badly, last year we had all our fencing down including a brick wall!! tiles off, and it is what originally screwed up my PT and so much more.
                          I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

                            ooooooooo it's nice and calm now But oh so cold - only 1 degree at 7am this morning. Clear sky though.
