  • Sorry not been on in recent months but!

where do i start as baby pc is now 10 months old.
after having her evrything didnt seem to bad other than my pelvis and back which im still having physio for the due to the spd and to quote the physio is one of the worse cases shes seen, as shes mid 50s id say she seen a few. but its getting a bit easier, sadly had to give up the lottie because of it.
baby pc seemed a very sicky baby that got worse to the point she wouldnt eat had serve excema very loose motions cronic stomach ache and started to scream for upto 4 hours at night but was exhausted too. at first the gp thought it was some kind of bug but after a few weeks of this at its worse when she had reached 4 months i gave her solids to see if this did anything. it did she ate them as if she was being starved, and her sympotoms where not so bad. the next i chated to a friend and during the chat mentioned this, i had previously tried several baby milks but as my friend pointed out they were all cows milk, went to the gp he reviewed it and said well try soya milk as a test, tried 24 hours later different baby. all problems with above now resolved but we have regular pediatrion appointments and precription milk now, provided i dont use anything with cows milk in. baby pc was also born with a funny patch of skin on her foot and it took ages to get someone to look at it seriously they all kept saying that was excema as well but it never changed, took 6 month for a eferal and a further 2 before i was seen total of 8 month all the time worrying what it was turns out to be a mass cell birth mark, she has 2 other normal brown type marks as well making her 3 in total, but what a relieve to have an answer. my elder child since september has had 4 chest infections 3 ear infections and swine flu. so with all the gp hospital visits and ill ness, christmas and now teething (6 through 6 more about too) i dont know what planet im on let alone day of the week, i think the computer thought it had been abandoned. so really sorry to all of you that ive not been on and posted any more photos like i promised, will get round to it now that where all on the mend and once ive finished sorting out the out grown baby stuff im selling (hate sorting out stuff). however i wouldnt swap my life as being a mum is the best thing in the world. hope to catch up with all you grapes soon im sure ive missed lots. take care love pc

What a time of it you have had. My neices little girl had problems feeding when she was born took gp months to agree it was reflux even though she lost a lot of weight, changed the milk and hey presto different baby. She has always had problems eating although she is improving now she is at school and having school dinners. Her mum always cooked fresh for her as a baby and froze it, she would batch cook just for the baby. Hope things are improving for you.

God, you have been through the mill. Well, when the weather gets better things will look up. You will be able to get out of the house with the little ones and being outdoors will toughen them up.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

Nice to see you back. but WHERE are the pics of the baby!?! We need pics

Both my 2 had reflux (baby gaviscon was brilliant) (I rememebr a day where it was only 9am and we had both had 4 outfits on and I was at my wits end with the washing and the sick) and were lactose intolerant and had smaLF until they were well over a year old. No1 son grew out of it by then and can happily eat dairy but we still wonder abot no2 son as he still seems unable to cope with dairy at aged 2 1/2. Chances are yours will grow out of it too, but it is a worry!

I think at least the forst 6 months of baby's life are a complete blur!

I also had spd, and boy was that painful, I can remember when no2 was 6 months old and I was cleaning the kitchen floor and I slipped and did the splits and thought I was going to DIE the pain was so severe.

baby is worth it though? I'd do it all again tomorrow
