Default Sorry been lurking - Please don't compost me!

Hi All,

I am sorry but as the title says, I have been lurking about here!

I have had some big family issues which started Christmas day and have been getting worse by the hour So I just did not feel I had much to add to the posts although a few have made me laugh!

Anyway I am back and plan to try and catch upp with you all.

Gardening wise has not had a great start either, greenhouse blow down and frame sheared in several places. The nice manufacturer has now sent a replacement at a reduced cost But it will be April before I can get it built, late start again this year for me.

Good news: A very nice neighbour offered me her daughter's shed a few weeks back, saying it was virtually new AND last night her Grandson with the help of a flat bed truck and 6 friends delivered it to me!! I didn't ask them to they just did it, it was so kind and really made me think about the positives not the negatives. So I know have a very posh looking double door shed with lots of windows to play in too (when I get it built that is )

Belated Happy Birthdays etc to you all and I hope to catch up soon.

Mandy x

Hiya Mandy, glad you're back. Sometimes it's just not the right time to post, but still good to visit the Vine now and again for a bit of 'sanity'.

Thanks Seahorse & MuckDiva,

Think I need all the sanity or insanity of the vine

Happy gardening, the nights are getting shorter

Thanks everyone,

Feel better already chatting you lot,

Don't worry Hazel, you will have your virtual hen. ( I will send you pics so you can chose who Hazel will be) The coop is built only took 2 months! but the run is still to be started. I have a supplier ready and waiting but I think it will have to wait until early April

My Dad is moving to Turkey and I am working full time on that just now!

Thanks everyone, Mandy

Nice to hear from you again Mandy. Your new avatar is a hopeful one too - big sign of spring! Good to know you've got good neighbours. If you can't keep posting, keep reading!

Mandy, I know how you feel, I have been 'away' for a while due to family stuff, I know it's not easy, but it is really good to have you back. I wish you well- recovery takes a while. there may be ups and downs but you will get there - baby steps to start your journey back. pm me for chat if needed at anytime.
love and hugs

Glad to have you back Mandy. What lovely neighbours you have isn't it a shame that these days we feel so suprised when somebody does something good for us just because they want to? We should all try to be good to each other, spread the love!
