With apologies if this has already been posted - I thought that this might be of interest to those chilli growers out there

Naga Viper - the hottest chilli in the world - grown in Cumbria | Metro.co.uk

""It's painful to eat," said Gerald, 52, who runs the Chilli Pepper Company, in Cark-in-Cartmel."

I love growing chillies, I love eating chillies but this urge to grow the hottest ever chilli is just silly imho! I grew Dorset Nagas this year but even cooking with a bit of one made the dish way too hot...will be sticking with stuf like chocolate & orange habaneros next year. Tasty and plenty hot enough.

I'm with you on this SBP - I saw it and wondered why you would eat something painful?

No doubt just deliriously happy that you're able to speak again!

I grow Dorset Nagas and they are so hot your fingers tingle for a couple of hours after you cut them up. I'll be on the look out for Viper seed now.
