Default So busy!

Not been around much, too much to do recently.

Been thinking of building an ark with all the rain. Had to go and rescue my courgettes at one point, as the whole plant was under water! Didn't seem to affect the flavour though!

Can't plant much out, as the ground is so sodden and clumpy, you can't dig a hole at all

Last few days we've also been helping some friends out with new arrivals...

So it's been pretty tiring!

Hoping to take a week off work to finish DIY and do more stuff in the garden!

Aaahh! Well, growing is growing - and I bet they are!
We had quite a bit of rain here at the end of last week. I got away with it but Jack next door had 3" of water in his green house and lost a lot of his best toms which were growing in the border.
Have a nice week - I'm spending the next one in the Lake District - not too far from you!

I'm with you on the Ark! East Anglia is supposed to be the driest part of the country - heaven help the rest of it this year. Oh, puppies - they are absolutely gorgeous, I want some!

Given the strapping on Mums leg, did everything go ok?

As for the rain - so much for the drought! What do you want to bet there will be a hosepipe ban in the south east before the end of July!

Lottie had to have an emergency c-section to remove 2 stuck, still born pups. She would have had a litter of 7 had they all survived, but 5 is more than enough to keep her busy!!

Oh wow! So the poor girl has stitches! Hope everything goes well for her and for you and that the pups thrive.
