A nearby allotment plot had beautiful daffs already flowering a couple of days ago, went past them today & they're all fallen over, lookin very sorry for themselves
My greenhouse thermometer recorded -9c last night though, so not surprised they can't cope!

They'll be fine. They'll stand up again with the thaw.

I have hellebores outside my kitchen window, I use them as my 'frostOmeter' if their heads are right down to the ground brurrrrr, half way down -not to brurrrr and so on.
they will all bounce back- take a look at the end of today if you can!
Please don't worry.

My hellebores and daffs looked sad too, we've had some terrible frosts over the last few nights. All the flowers stood up fine by lunchtime.

Please don't worry...

Slightly changing the subject (but sticking to snowdrops!), I went to the Rococo Gardens at Painswick last week - absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit if you can get there

What's that? Piskie's 'Snowdrop' has collapsed & your thingies have gone all droopy Jana?
My snowdrops are practically over now as they came out very early & the hellebores are looking a bit sad in the cold but I'm sure they'll perk up a bit when it warms up again.

lovely to hear everyone has lots of snowdrops but can anyone help, for the second year running mine have been eaten! I'm left with a lovely bunch of stalks! Just the flowers have munched, any ideas. we have alot of squirrels in garden or could it be mice, anyone else have this problem? I bought the clump from Bennington Lordship on one of their snowdrop open days so was looking forward to them this year.
