  • Slow to open.

The last couple of days I've been having problems getting the vine to open it takes 2 minutes and 5 seconds to open any page and then the same amount of time to open a reply page.

I've got a fast 17mbps connection and can open any other web page or forum except this one so I was wondering if anyone else is having these problems ? or have you got any idea how to fix it.

Back again the vine's working fine on Mr in Pots computer, so the problem is something on just mine.

We've done lots of speedtests, on that first site its coming in at 19mbps.

It can't be the connections its got to be my PC because we're networked and just now I'm using Mr in Pots PC and his opens the vine up fast just like mine did until the other day.

          Try clearing your cookies.

Right click the internet explorer icon, select properties, and there should be an option to clear cookies. Give that a go.

Hello BIP 17 mbps wow that is a fast connection you should have no probs with down loading or connecting. mine is 1 mbps i have no probs, though 2 mins to open this site does sound like a slow connection or a virus, do a scan with your anti virus programme, let me know if you find anything.

ok no virus thats good, as has been said clear cookies etc you can do this manually or as i do use this programme, Ccleaner ,it will remove all your cookies, internet history, and clean up your hard drive, etc i use it once a week, make a note of your passwords as it will remove these as well, its a free programme.

I can't help much I'm afraid, I just turned the router off and went to bed, it was fine this morning
Maybe there's a current ad that one of your security programs is objecting to?
