    Hi all

Well, we entered lots of stuff in our local show this year! Didn't do very well with the fruit and veg, but that's ok! We spent most of the year putting the polytunnel up, rather than actually growing!

However, I did enter the 'Domestic Science' category and managed a

1st with Honey Flapjack (25 entries) and 4th with Caramel Shortbread (8 entries)

and one of the dogs got his first 1st prize!!

Attached is Murphy with his rosettes - a 1st for Waggiest Tail and a 3rd in the Working and Pastoral group class

Well done! Honey flapjacks sound well good! Congrats to Doggy too - no wonder he's waggy, living where they make honey flapjacks!

Congratulations OWG and Murphy! Can I be rude, any chance of your posting your recipes? We could all give them a go. Promise not to enter your show though!

I know... I was very impressed with him!

He totally bombed out of 'Best Biscuit Catcher' - the biscuit hit him on the nose!

Well done OWG! I can well believe Murphy had the waggiest tail having had a bonkers boxer myself but does he have a 'proper' tail ( as they're all supposed to have now) or just a stump like ours did? I can imagine if he's got a full one you have to move all the ornaments etc. when he gets going! Flapjack sounds nice too, and caramel shortbread, are the recipes on here yet?

Yup, he has a 'proper' tail... we don't have a coffee table anymore, nor anything on low shelves! Both our boys have tails

Recipes will be on tonight - have to dig them out of my recipe box!
