  • Rose bush not delivered, what to do????

At the beginning of March (this year) I ordered a David Austin rose bush. It didnt turn up. I waited till April then rang them they said they had sent it and I should enquire at the post sorting office, eventually agreed to send another one. PO said they had not got it and it was up to the sender to sort it out. The second rose has still not arrived and now is not the right time to be planing roses anyway. I rang DA again and was told they had sent it and they would look into it. I want my money back they dont seem keen. What would you do

I would insist on a refund as they have failed to supply the rose in a reasonable amount of time. If they won't play ball then you could get a refund from your credit card provider, if you paid that way.

This happened to me with another item not gardening related.

They were sending it to a completely different address.

Have you ordered from them before and moved? could it be that if you ordered online it defaulted back to an old address (this is what happened to me).

Alternatively did they get the right post code if you ordered over the phone again this happened to me regarding the same item as above. It was a complete farce but they resent item as everything was their fault.

Was it a signed for plant, do they have the name of the person who was suppossed to have signed for it.

In my humble opinion, they have no reason to keep your money if you did not receive the item.

      Good luck in sorting it.

I'm surprised, as I complained to T&M recently about some of their plants I got and they sent replacements straight away. I would try and make an official complaint, they have failed to fulfill their order twice.

I suspect it will be an address issue if 2 haven't arrived.

            Thanks all, answers,
I have not moved, it is the same address and correct postcode, I have used David Austin roses before (same address), bit slow on delivery but got here eventually. I have checked the address with them many times now and it is correct.
Not signed for just sent R Mail
Not the right time to plant roses now just want my money back, should I insist
