    Good news!

Just rung up for all the blood, hormone and chromosone tests undertaken after being taken under the wing of the specialist Gynae consultant. Huge relief that they are all negative so no worries there. Obviously though I am still concerned as there is now no "reason" why I have been unable to carry past 12 weeks the past 3 pregnancies. The consultant I saw yesterday about my thyroid seemed to be of the opinion that my thyroid levels were too high and said that could be a contributing factor especialy if all other tests prove negative. He has given me a form so that as soon as I get a lil blue line I can get it checked and then adjusted as early as possible next time.

I am now so nervous - of course this means that we have got the go ahead to start trying now (which should please hubby!) but I must admit I am sheding a few tears, out of nerves, residual grief or what I dont know. All I do know is that I am going on a detox first. From today (ok after one final cup of coffee) I am going on a very weak decaff and will not touch alchohol until I hold a baby in my arms or we decide to admit defeat. I hope you will all hold my hand to help me up the rocky road again (just hope I get there this time) and I promise to try really hard not to get on all your nerves about it. We have had a wonderful start to the year here on the vine and I am determined not to bring any bad news on here - maybe I will just disappear if I fail. NO - I am trying to stay in the mindset that I am so very lucky to have had two gorgeous children and a third would just be the icing on the cake and icing is very fattening so maybe only being blessed with two would be more healthy!

Oh one more thing, please dont worry about me doing the beanie sweepstake, I am enjoying it - Aunty Tammy is pleased to be a part of the beginning of so many beanies lives.

    Love you all so much

    Tammy

Great news Tammy and I hope everything turns out wonderful for you. I think that everyone who wants babies should be able to have them, but unfortunately it's not always the case is it. Good luck, love and hugs xxxx

Thanks Auntie Maureen. I also used to wish that there could be no illness, deaths, violence or sadness on Christmas day - every year or even better every day, every year but then we would get even more crowded in our wonderful world!

        Thanks Bride.

good luck tammy ....... at least you know that everything is fine ...... and it was just natures way

my sister also had 2 beautiful girls, but wanted a third (well really her husband was desperate for a boy, so he could teach him to play footie) ....... she also had 2 miscarriages, went through all the tests, nothing ........ decided to try one last time, and voila ...... a gorgeous bouncing boy...... who's mad on footie

sometimes there are no obvious reasons, and sometimes it's meant to be that that bundle of joy will happen.

                      hugsssssssss

Hoping it will be fine in the end for you. I know what it's like to be so desperate. Try and chill and enjoy the practising part and things happen when you least expect them!
