We had it since lunchtime, cleared at about 6 ish, but a good amount came down. Quite glad as the big tank still only has about 200l in it, but, the forecast for the next few days is and I should think it'll end up half full (at least) by Thursday...

i got up at 7:30 (thats 6:30 uk time) and early for me and went down to the plot with watering can and three big 5 litre bottles of water and watered the smallest seedlings/plants then after breakfast went down and sprayed all my toms and pots with bouille bordelaise (against blight) then after lunch set off to friends house for a swim......so of course it then decided to abslotely p*** down ...got a swim between first shower and second shower then walked home before third...it then decided to rain for ages.................but if i hadnt done any of those things it would have stayed dry...wouldnt it?

We had the most horrendous hail storm yesterday evening. As the car was parked on the drive, the hailstones were bouncing up about a foot. Before that, torrential rain.

Could we have the 'barbeque' summer we have been promised soon, because from Sunday (the longest day) we are all going down hill to Christmas.
