I decided last minute to grow a pumpkin, not very keen on pumpkin pie or soup, but thought as my courgettes and squashes were doing well in this weather I'd give a pumpkin a try. So two or three weeks ago I bought one, nicely labelled , in Homebase, it's doing well, got several flowers, I had a closer look this week, it's got long green 'pumpkins' growing on it!!!!! Sowed a couple of seeds today but it'll probably be too late - there's always next year!

i think next time i will sow my seeds a bit later though because of the frost, good luck lottieval with yours, i have put it on some polystereine, and egg shells round it, hopefully it will do the job as this is my only pumpkin i have growing.
