  • Problem Garden Area

I have an area about 2m by 1m next to my pond that is always an unsightly problem to me! I would be very grateful to anyone who could give me some advice on what to do with it, I was wondering about putting moss down - likea water garden? Or getting some big shrubs to grow there - what sort?

Its currently covered in compost from the bins, a small but really nice apple tree, an unknown but good shrub, hardly and grass and loads and loads of ground elder. I want to suprise my mum so give me some ideas guys please!!!

    Thanks for reading!

Perhaps irises of all colours? Kingcups and other water margin plants?

What about making it into a marshy area and growing the native flowers and plants which would normally be found beside a pond? These would also provide a home for wildlife.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

zebra grass is lovely, some bamboos or make it into a wildlife area with logs and hideyholes with little plants popping out.
Dont worry about tomorrow, live for today
