OK own up.............................which of you lovely kind grapes sent me the prairie fire chilli seeds?

Bluebelle, Bashfull and I have nearly had our heads blown off! LOL!!! Admitedly we are not used to spicy/hot things but what a shock LOL!!! Bashfull has thoroughly enjoyed the sensation and says thank you - Bluebelle doesnt feel the same I am afraid. I think all our friends are going to enjoy sharing in the glut from our two plants - they must have around 60 fruits on each plants!

    Lots of love from

Mrs RT again - I can sympathise with you! Made Steve a pasta sauce using one of his Orange Hab tonight and decided to give it a taste test ! Won't be doing that again! Chilli's are not my thing really, especially not hot ones Although I did crave a curry with DD

Hi Mo - I am not too bad thanks. Steve had me resting all day yesterday so feeling a lot better today How are you today?

Hi Tammy - I hardly get a chance to get on here! Steve hogs the PC at night time I might have to think of getting one though as I might have some spare time once number 2 is here and Steve at work!

Ho yes....they are indeed hot. I bought a plant from the West Dean Chilli Fiesta last year cos it looked nice. I do love a good hot chilli but still couldn't eat my way through them all so I pickled the rest with some mushrooms to great effect. The seeds I saved have done great this year too. But yes...they do pack a mighty punch and get those endorphines going.

must admit fd , i grew three prairie fire plants this year.
put three into a home made pizza ,wow, i love hot food and these are great.
ps that was without the seeds too ,which ive saved .
Definately be growing this one next year.

Love Prairie Fire chillies, the plants are lovely and compact and you can keep them fruiting pretty much all winter.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Thanks for letting me know that Alison. If you see this please answer a quick question - could I give one of my two plants to a neighbour for her to keep on her windowsill? - mine are in a greenhouse at the mo.
