Ooh that sounds lovely Judy! Saturday is our wedding anniversary but if we're about I shall try and pop by. It'll also give me a chance to see the lotties! I don't actually need any plants but a cuppa would be super.

Squeak! Despite having about 20 of my own gardener's delight toms and having sold/given away about 30 more, today I got another one at a plant swap at the office. I am just hopeless. It just looked so happy and healthy! I also got another 3 chilli peppers, 13 aquilegas, god alone knows how many crocosmia, alpine strawbs, mint, a honeysuckle and marjoram. Sigh. My name is Mina and I am a plant addict.

we're a self managed site so towards the upkeep and replacement of equipment and we want a communal polytunnel so should be able to acheive that

Judy what a joy your lotty was! Im gonna give my hovel another season and then look at maybe joining your waiting list!!!!! Its a wee bit too far as I dont drive and no straight bus (plus a wee bit too uphill for my pants cycling!) but I loved it! The sense of community was fantastic there and it was soooo pretty!

I totally loved it too and can't wait to get an allotment there! It's not too far for me - 25 minute cycle (while unfit) isn't too bad. It's probably gonna get shorter as I get more fit. And the cycle is worth it. I loved the communal garden!
