Am I being a bit tight, or are big plastic plant pots just expensive?

I'd like some 10 inch pots for next year.

They are a few quid each!!!!!! even in the cheap places!!!

    Cheers

Go to Morrisons and see if they have any flower buckets left, 8 for a squid ......unless they are not pretty enough of course......

I've just come from Morrisons Ty Glas, CG and they didn't have any but its so chaotic there with the refurb. Try any of the big Supermarkets, like Asda and your local florists - some of them give them away

I am always on the prowl for a bargain!!!

And Yes, that is a better price.

                  Thanks for the info VC.

I do my shopping at ASDA Coryton VC, so I will ask there soon.

I'd be grudged paying top whack for a piece of molded plastic!!!!

                  Maybe I am just tight!!!!!!

Ask your local police neighbourhood team if you can have the ones they raid drug growing places.
They apparently have to pay to take stuff to the tip so it will save them money.

You may get some from Asda - ask at Customer Services. Try the Co-op and the florists in the village too - they can only say No! On this Forum you'll find lots of references to MFBs - that's "Morrisons Flower Buckets".

Potato's, sweet peppers, tomato's, runner beans, cauliflowers, etc all grown in MFB's. And when they split cut them down to about 6" deep they are ideal for radish and spring onion.
