Well, not sugar-free but honey is brilliant. Natural remedy, anti-biotic etc.

I'll be interested in others' answers!

The French drink a lot of Tisanes...mostly home grown- so they're not old wives remedies here!!!

I was going to suggest lemon balm or sage....and then after doing a bit of Googling- came up with this...

      Herbal drinks
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

      Location....Normandy France

                Ah, that's a problem then.

Chicken run still needs a door, and the weld-mesh stapling down around the bottom - but I think we're still on target for April chickens!
                Good luck with your search.

Try some echinacea - it helps strengthen your own immunity. Also, if the cough becomes mucky rather than just dry, or you've got some remnant sinusitis or just a mucky nose, you should try fenugreek - it is a great mucinogenic (is that spelt right???).

Oooooooooooh that is a useful tip faerie! I KNEW there was a reason I crave curries when I have a cold! (always lots of fenugreek in my curries)

Do you juice? I think a mix of carrot / orange / apple, whatever you've got to hand might give a real boost to your immune system over a month or so - especially if you add a half clove of garilc and a bit of ginger. Also avoid dairy if you're snotty as it is a mucus productor.
