With all this interest surrounding the Puppies, I thought it would be nice to start a thread on general pet photos but as I don't have a pet I didn't bother.............................but by all means feel free to post your own pets.

The first two are of my loony lurcher....Bourbon the Bastid (Billy for short) See the hole he made in my blind? Hence the name.

This is what we're faced with when we want to sit down..

And this is Midge the whippet. Not really ours actually but we've been fostering her for a rescue nearly a year now and at twelve years old, well, I guess she might be staying

Zuva you've already met so this is her when she was about six months old

I'm sorry for the sideways pics....don't know why it does that.

These are our 2 reprobates -
The greyhound is Messymoo (Messy for short) - we called her that because she has the habit of picking up a mouth full of food and trundeling around with it until she finds somewhere suitable to drop it. Its normally just in the right place to step on. She is 10 and now completely blind.
The black lab is Archie our end of life foster dog - daft as a brush but quite doddery because of his end stage arthriris. He is guarenteed to wag if you sing the Adams Family tune to him.

muddled - your mutts are beautiful. No peeing here at the moment as Archie can't get on the sofa and Messy disguises her's with the drool she has since she had 14 teeth taken out.
It's official I love greyhounds......and all other dogs for that matter!

This is Molly who is always happy

And this is Merlin who is always bad tempered!

He turned up on our roof almost five years ago. A year later he escaped for a whole week! I put a missing budgie ad in the paper and a young boy found him sitting in his drive about three miles away, his mum had seen my ad so we got him back, he was worn out, exhausted and starving but still as bad tempered as ever

Here's my Cassie curled up in her usual daytime snooze spot.

She's an old lady now - 14-ish - but much loved.

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
