  • Oh what a blooming shame..

I have a well insulated house, stocked freezer, larder and wine rack. I was so enjoying the view of the ice and snow and am gutted that it seems to be going away.

Ah well, probably a tad less disappointing for those without warm homes and full store cupboards, eh?!

It looks like we will get some snow tonight/tomorrow morning.
At least nearly all the shopping done.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I don't want any more snow than we've had in the last few weeks. I am having the family for Christmas Day and if there's a heavy fall of snow, the aged outlaws and my son (who lives alone) will have a pretty miserable time of it.

I'm with you Flo. I've got company for Christmas day so I'd love it if the dam stuff didn't come back. Let them have it that like it...that's what I say
