    Off to see Sound of Music - v excited

    Tomorrow in London, with my Mum as her birthday treat.

    We both love musicals and used to go all the time but not been for some time.
    So very excited about having a day out, nice lunch somewhere and resting on the train instead of rushing around all day, skivvying like I do here!

    Anyone been?

    No but I would love to when it was in the pictures zillions of years ago I went about 14 times or more to see it. Brings back lovely memories of my childhood. Keep trying to find the money to bring daughter to stay in London and go sightseeing and to a musical. She has been to stay with primary school but they did the educational stuff and not the tourist things, She did get to see something but my brain cant recall what though.
    Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
    and ends with backache

      oooh, I went to see it when I a little girl, we lived in Leeds and my mum took us to London for a night for my 7th birthday and we saw the sound of music and I loved it! OMG that was 27 years ago, eek! anyway, have a lovely time

        It was Brilliant!

        Me and mum had a great time, and a nice lunch. The show was fab would def recommend it. We didn't get lost once (a miracle for us) and I even managed to squeeze in a little visit to hamleys (it was so busy they had doorstaff and ushers)

        Only managed to lose my scarf once (found again) fall over once(tripped and fell into a man - good job he didn't stab me lol) and mum only spilled scalding coffee on herself once!

        Missed the train home we wanted by one minute, so caught a different one to Cambridge and my dad came and picked us up!

        Planing the enxt one for the summer now
