A client of mine has one, she brings it to all our meetings - she loves it, as do others I know of who use them.

I personally wouldn't want one as I like a bit of paper at meetings and I have my XDA to (try and) make me look smart

OH has a little white one it's tiny and very cute (ok that's the girly review)

with one of the mobile BB modem thingys, tis fab when he's on the train (between signals) or going to sit by the sea, or in a cafe ....... he loves it, definitely worth a go if you are going to take it out lots, ...... or just browsing the internet, his only has a tiny hard drive(think 4GB) but has linux, so is pretty fast, but not much good if you want to play games or do much else. (no cd/dvd player) though you can get them with bigger hard drives now so not sure if those make it much better ....... basically if you want something to surf and play online games, or write stuff, they're fab ...... if you want to play any games get a laptop

        Acer

I Have Aspire One and it is a great little machine, I have tweaked to run Ubuntu otherwise bog standard. Take it everywhere and actually fits in my pocket, only downside is the battery time (2 Hrs), but you can get a bigger battery (6 hrs) now!

Using pendrives works better for me and I now have separate ones for my document's, music and photo's, thus I am not worried about storing it on one computer. Furthermore using SSH I can connect with my wireless Hard drive and watch movies, play music and photo's anywhere (Other people's homes) even on holiday, other window users are very impressed.

Ah, thought that was a plant thread as the only acer I have is a really lovely deep red leaved thing which is rather susceptable to wind damage - am guessing that's not what you're on about.........

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
