  • My son has strange tastes in food!

He hasn't been well today (is only 4), didn't wake up til 11am today (heaven for the rest of us lol), and as a result has been off his food so we have been giving him what he fancies (normally this doesn't happen in our house lol)

He chose a honey sandwich for tea. Ate half then decided he didn't like it. Asked for some cucumber, which we gave him. Next thing I know he has put it in the sandwich with the honey and then ate the lot!

    I laughed til I cried. V strange!

    Strange ?
How about peanut butter and marmite, or red wine and coke (to drink, not a sandwich) ?
    All delicious.
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

Lateral thinking my dear.... he just wants to make sure it tastes ok when he throws it all up again.

      Bless.

DS made himself a ham sandwich yesterday.....nothing bad in that...except he used choc biscuits instead of bread!!!.......I reckon they'd get on great!!!

I used to like marzipan straight out the packet.

Isn't it amazing what you fancy when you're not feeling too well. I've heard of lots of strange combinations but this is the first time I've heard of honey and cucumber together. Still, they're both healthy options.

That's not a bad way to drink a bad red.

I "invented" Coke in coffee, when I'd run out of milk ... it's like a v1rgin Black Russian, nice

My Nanna used to have Tuc crackers in sandwiches. The only strange thing I can remember eating is salted peanuts mixed with ice-cream. I was pregnant at the time
