Default My slugs and snails escaped!

Bummer! I collected a whole yog pot of slugs and snails last night and saved them for the chooks. The pot had clingfilm on, a plastic lid and the sellotape to weigh it down (first thing I could find).
Imagine my horror when me and the wee one opened the utility door this morning to go feed chooks to find they had all escaped!

Slugs and snails EVERYWHERE! I was amazed how far they had got in a few hours! Turbo charged round here obviously...... and to cap it all they KNEW it was me who had caught them as when I put my foot in my wellie... You guessed it - One right at the bottom of my boot.

YUKKEROONY!

Dunno who long I will be finding them round the room now!

I still do tend to wander around the grass barefoot - Snowdrop calls me a scruffy urchin which I mostly am

As BW says, they don't half move when they want to!!!!!

Next time chuck them in the chook pen first???

Hope you both recovered from the trauma.
