  • My plot and Dog poo

Ok this weekend is the weekend for digging, snow, rain or the apocolipse

Thout shall go forth and buy new a new fork (currently spear&jackson lifetime warranty...not if you live longer than the fork!) any suggestions more than welcome

Thout shall dig and double dig untill the plot is dug.

Thout shall have a warm bath and a big glass of wine after and then calling A&E for an ambulance because i can't move in the morning.

Thou shall shout and moan at the irresponsible person who feels that their doggy should be free to mess outside my abode without it beeing seen to!

Thou shall consult others before planting for the correct seeds at the correct times

You OK there Dark Crow? Or have you just come down from a bit of mountaineering with a couple of tablets of stone tucked under your arm!
On the topic of the said dog poo in the title - I was having a big rant and moan until someone pointed out it was fox poo!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I feel your pain Dark Crow. Some scummy selfish b****** has let their dog go at the bottom of my driveway at home, and the same or another such b******* has done the same right outside my gate at the lottie In fact, our allotment path could be renamed as dog-sh** alley at the mo

LOL!! Sorry just fed up with not going out and doing it, apologies for ranting# Fox Poo It could be, i live in quite a populated area with not a lot to intrest them (or so i thought) unless they'er intrested in my kittys??

Ok quick Edit.. a Couple of weeks ago one of my kittys came in STINKING!.. Poor KITTY was plonked straight in the bath!! I was later informed that a fox had been seen in the area and apparentnley cats will roll in their business to deter them from a quick snack. so it could be either, how do you tell? (sorry)

Feeling fed up - I know the feeling Dark Crow - I've been going stir crazy recently too! The fox poo was on my lottie. The foxes in my street just rip the bin bags on collection night (they come at about 6am so everyone puts them out the night before) - no poo, just food scraps and rubbish everywhere. Fat foxes though.

One of the rules of the vine, Dark Crow - you gotta have at least one rant every so often.

We heard a terrible screaming one night from out the back near the canal. Just thought it was the usual country noises......next day there was half a kitten lying next to the compost bin. A fox had literally torn it in two.

Not good. No signs up looking for a lost kitten so couldn't let anyone know that their kitty had been got.

We buried it next to the compost bin and it's always right there that birds are found dead.......very weird.

I'm with you on the dog poo thingy - miserable little owners who think they are too good to pick up their dog's poo. I'm not swearing as this is a family forum but believe me; I do in real life.

DC, should I respectfully recommend the rant thread to you? Would that help? - You keep slipping into a rant and then apologising again!
How about a darkened room, glass of wine, 20 minutes of kitty purring?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Sorry, forgot that bit. You need to grab a few in the garden centre and see which one suits you for weight, height and balance. I have broken 3 or 4 cheap ones so I would always go for a stainless steel, more expensive one. You need something that you enjoy using! I hardly ever use a spade, so all the work is done by my fork (and me!).
Can't tell you the make as it is in the boot of the car and I ain't going outside in this rain!
